Party Hostesses Extraordinaire

We all love going to fun & fabulous parties but when it comes down to planning our own, many see it as a huge headache! As someone who is always planning a party in her head, it never occurred to me that, for many, planning a party can be viewed as painful as say, dental work! Ouch!! It does take some prep work and planning, especially to make it extra-meaningful, and in today’s busy and fast-paced world, it can be hard to find the time to slow down and plot out the details.

Thankfully, there are so many places on the web to help you navigate the jungle of party planning for all of life’s celebrations especially if you find yourself in a rut. So for this post, I would like to direct you to my favorite party planning blogs that I retreat to when I’m looking for inspiration on the latest trends and themes as well as to indulge and recharge my creative side!  I am personally inspired by all of these talented Hostess(es) Extraordinaire – with their passion and love for parties, I really look to them as fellow kindred spirits!!  My hope is that these resources will not just make it easier but also inspire you to get really excited about planning your next soiree and to celebrate every occasion with fun and flair.

These first two are the juggernauts of party planning – Hostess with the Mostess and Kara’s Party Ideas. They are the go-to source with a vault full of ideas for a lifetime of parties!! If you are a newbie to these two sites, I highly recommend placing a time limit for your visits. I’ve often gone onto their site to check out the latest party posts with the intention of visiting for 20 minutes only to find that, 2 hours later, I still haven’t resurfaced for air!!
